BIO:

I'm a traditional watercolor painter and digital illustrator. I'm showing work in a Retro Deco style, digital illustration, architectural renderings, holiday images, and plein-air landscapes. Favorite projects include books, magazines, travel art, packaging, advertising, and licensing.

I am a lucky man. I have been doing what I love, painting professionally, for over 25 years. A graduate of the Art Center College of Design, I married Cynthia Watts Clark, a classmate, and we moved to NYC. Later we relocated to the Hudson Valley to raise our three children. In 2009, we relocated to downtown Salt Lake City so I could also follow another passion- vocal music, singing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, followed by the Utah Chamber Artists and Utah Symphony Chorus.

Combining my love of art, travel, and music I have had the pleasure of being the leader of the Rhinebeck/Rheinbach Exchange Program taking 100 talented high school music students to Germany to perform and tour in the Rheinland and then hosting our German friends in performing and touring New York.
